Being Enterprising: The ability to get projects done
Little Go Getters aims to develop enterprising youth to achieve their goals, projects, and versions of success.
We do this through educational picture books, activity books, and school and extracurricular programs.
Enterprise and being enterprising can be defined in numerous ways; however, Little Go Getters defines it as the ability to get projects done. This inclusive view on enterprising is open to looking at individuals doing small personal projects, community projects and entrepreneurship. Some of the primary tendencies associated with being enterprising include:

My Books
Little Go Getters works with local authors to create a series of localised and contextualised picture books. These books help readers see themselves as enterprising and engaging, with adventures they can relate to. The communities we work with are continually expanding, and new Little Go Getters series are being developed. About Me
Hello! My name is Joyce Clock. I grew up in North Dakota, but five years ago I moved to Texas to be near my grandchildren. It turned out to be one of the best choices I’ve made.
I have a background in business and vocational counselling, but I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart. My love for creativity, hard work, and solving problems inspired me to join the Little Go Getters community and begin writing children’s books.
Being a single mom taught me how important determination, resilience, and goal-setting are. I passed these values on to my sons, and now I see them in my grandchildren too. Watching them set goals and go after their dreams is so rewarding. They’ve also helped shape these stories by sharing ideas, creativity, and encouragement along the way.
I am the author of three books in the Little Go Getters series, all set right here in the United States. My goal is to inspire children to believe in themselves and recognize they can achieve their goals and bring their ideas to life through hard work, determination, and the support of their community. Today, I am proud to share these stories with children everywhere, encouraging them to dream big and take action.
This journey has been both unforgettable and deeply meaningful. I am incredibly grateful for every step of the process, especially the chance to collaborate with my son, Eric Clock.
